Alon Ohel

Alon is a talented musician and pianist. People say that he always seems to be playing the piano, even if there isn't one around. A new melody is always playing in his head. Alon is a tall, handsome guy, a musician at heart who loves to play the piano, beloved and surrounded by friends. Alon's parents are waiting for him to come home. His brother Ronen is waiting to play with him again.
Like his brother Alon, Ronen is also a musician who intimately understands the power of creation. "My brother and I have a very strong connection to music," he continues. "One of our ways to get through this period is to give and receive strength through it." Their shared passion recently led them to initiate an exciting project involving the world-famous musician Avishai Cohen, as well as his family and friends. "A good friend of Alon and I thought of a way in which we could spread kindness and goodness in a way that would reach everyone. We realized that only music can do that. We tried to figure out which song would be suitable, and we thought of Avishai Cohen's song 'Come Back to Me,' which Alon, of course, loves and appreciates."
His mother, Idit, tries to maintain a sense of calm and hope and says: "I feel that Alon is alive and that he is in good condition, feeling good but also experiencing difficult moments. I imagine that he is worried about us just as we are worried about him, but I feel that he is very strong and that he helps others as much as he can, and that gives him resilience to cope."
Recently, musicians whom Alon admired, such as Shlomi Shaban, Guy Mazig, and the Jane Bordeaux band, joined the abducted parents who set up speakers in front of the Gaza border, equipped with a piano, and called for the return of the abducted after 107 days in captivity.

Alon traveled this summer to the Far East with his parents for about three weeks of shared adventure. Alon was supposed to fly next to Belgrade with his grandfather to meet and get to know the extended family living there. His mother says that when he returns, this will be his first trip abroad.
Alon was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists from a concrete shelter that was attacked and detonated after he managed to escape from the Nova music festival near Re'im,on Saturday October 7. His family and friends are doing everything in their power to help bring him home.
